Our Mission

Our Programs
Peer Advocacy
The Peer Advocacy program trains students to provide support and advocacy for their peers, particularly neurodivergent and disabled students. This includes helping students navigate university resources, providing emotional support, and advocating for accessibility and accommodations.
Community Events
Our Events are designed to empower neurodivergent and disabled students by providing platforms to share their experiences, raise awareness about issues affecting their communities, learn about the community, and advocate for change. These events can include panel discussions, workshops, and campaigns that align with NeuroPride’s mission to foster acceptance, accessibility, and understanding of neurodiversity. We also host events to create spaces for neurodivergent students to connect, socialize, and build support networks. These are essential for fostering a sense of community among neurodivergent students.
Disability Pride Week
NeuroPride's annual Disability Pride Week celebrates disability culture and identity through a series of events, including workshops, keynote speakers, etc. The program aims to empower disabled students, build community on campus, and promote learning about the history of disabled activism.
Peer Mentorship
Peer Mentorship pairs neurodivergent students with more experienced peers who provide guidance, support, and advice on navigating university life. This program fosters a sense of community, encourages academic success, and promotes personal growth.
Neurodivergence Acceptance Month
Neurodivergence Acceptance Month is a series of events aimed at celebrating and raising awareness about neurodivergence on campus. This includes events, workshops, and educational campaigns that challenge stereotypes, promote acceptance, and create an inclusive environment.
Peer to Peer Counseling
The Peer to Peer Counseling program provides neurodivergent students with personalized support through peer-based counseling sessions. During these sessions, students will be able to discuss common challenges such as academic stress, social issues, peer pressure, and more. This program fosters a supportive and inclusive environment by creating safe spaces for students to discuss their concerns and receive empathy, encouragement, and practical advice.
